One of the most popular Air Jordan shoes of all-time and a RareAirShoes.com favorite is the Air Jordan VI. It features a rich,  plush full-grain floater leather upper with foam backing in the ankle, conventional tongue with TPR pull loops, and nylon pouch to store laces, held by a Varsity Red-colored lace locks. It also has a sculpted polyurethane midsole with an encapsulated forefoot Air-Sole® unit with a visible heel Air-Sole® unit in addition to its solid-clear rubber outsole with cylindrical traction pattern.

This colorway was released at a number of Niketown's across the USA. There have many reports about how many were produced, some have said 1000, others say 2000, some 5000, but they were not there for long though!  However, regardless of the estimates and assumptions, they are a difficult shoe to find and rarely are available to purchase despite the demand. There would be no more than a handful of these here within Australia.  Ray Allen wore this shoe in the Sydney Olympic games in 2000 whilst representing Team USA en route to the gold medal.
