Possibly, one of the most popular shoes Adidas has ever made was the Superstar and now on the heels after the successful release of the 35th Anniversary series, Adidas in 2006 released the Adicolor series.

Here, Mike Richardson, president of Dark Horse Comics used the Adicolor shoe in this series (R3) which was the 3rd shoe to be released of the Red Series as his canvas. Using the corporate colors and horse logo on the shoes, the shoes are made with premium leather uppers and come with extra set of black laces with exclusive lace loops. The package overall is fulfilling, extra laces, interchangeable foam innersoles in Black/Red and White/Black with comic print adorning them (see pics). The shoes have a hangtag attached and also included is Dark Horse comic itself. The shoes come wrapped up in special comic SpyBoy wrapping paper. Only 5000 pairs were produced!

Certainly something a little different for the more astute shoe collector!
