RareAirShoes.com Australian Exclusive On 3rd January 2004, Nike released thru a number of retail sneaker stores and Niketown in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Manhattan NYC and Chicago the 'Artist Series' which consisted of three different styles of Nike shoes. The above model is one of three styles released on the day which sold out within a short time, as people camped outside overnight to have a chance of purchasing a pair. The most-sought after was the Air Force II Low designed by graffiti artist, Espo. This shoes featured a clear tongue and uppers along with a blend of reflective 3M finished off on an ice sole. The other two shoes released were the Dunk High of Pharrell Williams from the band N.E.R.D and the Air Rift of actress Halle Berry, of which both shoes had design input from these celebrities. One of the main reasons, despite the unique and appealing design was how limited these shoes were. There were only 1050 pairs produced and each were individually numbered. We hope you enjoyed seeing the pictures of these limited edition shoes. Men's US Size - 15 (Slightest hint of yellow on clear soles) |
