Part of the Nike Air "Force" line was the Air Force Mid, which was released in 1993 along with a low and high style. A clearly distinguishing feature of the Air Force Mid is the leather 'force' strap, which became nearly 'stock standard' part of the Nike basketball lines of this era. However, on the Air Force Mid there is only one strap which actually utilizes both sides of the ankle and forefoot for added support.
