A very rare, sample version of the Air Jordan 1.5 (Melo), the first signature shoe of rising NBA star, Carmelo Anthony and one that differs remarkably from the shoe which was released to the general public. Lets look at the differences...with the main one poking out at the rear of the shoes, where 'MELO' is clearly written in blue whilst on the released version it merely has 3 horizontal lines, but having 'Carmelo' etched into the ankle supports instead. The actual name of the colorway varies too, with 'Chrome' being used on the sample, instead of 'Metallic Silver' and because of this, a different stylecode to the released version.

What does the .5 symbolize? The .5 symbolizes the imaginary halfway point between the finished designs of every Air Jordan model ever made. Based on actual designs of Air Jordans that were never produced, Jordan .5 brings them to fruition for the very first time.
