RareAirShoes.com Australian Exclusive Not to be released within stores in Australia and released on 28th January 2006 as a US exclusive is what some may call one of the greatest Air Jordan releases of all-time, the 'Defining Moments Package'. It features not one, but two pairs of shoes within a book-like box, adorned with different action poses of Michael Jordan in action. Although both boxes are joined, each gold box has a slide-out drawer which the shoes sit in. Each of shoes differ since their original and past retro releases with a modern twist. The first of two shoes included is the Nike Air Jordan VI (6) which was originally released back in 1991, when Michael Jordan and the Bulls triumphed over the LA Lakers in the first of three consecutive NBA titles. It features a rich, plush nubuck upper with foam backing in the ankle, conventional tongue with TPR pull loops, and nylon pouch to store laces, held by a gold lace locks. It also has a sculpted polyurethane midsole with an encapsulated forefoot Air-SoleŽ unit with a visible heel Air-SoleŽ unit in addition to its solid-clear rubber outsole with cylindrical traction pattern. Attached to the side of the shoe, is a gold hang tag. On the rear heel counter of each shoe there is a gold '23'. The second of the shoes in this package is the iconic Nike Air Jordan XI (11), perhaps the MOST popular Air Jordan model ever produced. After Michael Jordan retired, he came back and in his first full-season with the Chicago Bulls, they won the NBA title over the highly-touted Seattle Supersonics to capture their fourth championship. With its superior comfort, the shoe easily molded to the your foot, and coupled together with superb traction and lateral movement gave rise to one of the greatest. Also, attached to the side of the shoe, is a gold hang tag. Men's US Size - Sold Out 6 April 2006 |
