The Air Jordan XIII Low was originally released in 1997. Now, in 2005 this gets a re-vamped and fresh-looking colorway for women, featuring University Blue and Pink, exclusively for release in the USA.

This style is well-renowned for its Jumpman hologram on the ankle support of the shoe, however, the low cut colorway did not have this unique feature there, instead it had a metal logo in a similar region and hologram was on the sole of shoe.

This particular shoe was an interesting step for the Jordan Brand designers, as it was the first time, since the Original Air Jordan I in 1984/85 or the Air Jordan II had been produced in a low-cut.  From there on, it seems like Jordan Brand designers have produced a low-cut for the Nike Air Jordan line ever since.
