This shoe came and went in a split second, and not surprisingly, considering the rumors circulated that there were only 500 pairs made, and available as Quickstrike to Nike accounts within the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia in small numbers. The shoes were made by Nike as a tribute to Jose Rizal, a national hero of the Philippines, pride of the Malayan race in the colors of the national flag. Combining a nice mix of patent leather, suede, vinyl and nubuck, with a 'Kevlar-like' look to it. Notable features include the 3 sets of laces, including being laced up with royal blue ones, and sets of white and yellow for added punch. A nice touch is the red-stitching to the midsole along with a translucent sole. The Filipino Sun to the outside of the rear heel counter completes this shoe.
