The Nike Air Double Figure are a lightweight and very comfortable basketball shoe that is similar to the Nike Air Huarache 2k5. Much like the 2k5,  they are made from a combination of leather and synthetic leather.  The midsole has been constructed from phylon which is lightweight and this has been encapsulated with a full-length zoom-air sole, to help protect against high impact.  Other notable features include a sturdy ankle strap, internal speed lacing with the rubber outsole with a herringbone pattern for increased traction.

This colorway for the Nike Air Double Figure was not released in Australia. It was made in limited numbers and released overseas, in particular in Argentina, the home of Spurs star, Manu Ginobili. The tongue features his special makeup Nike logo, and colors that have been influenced by both the national colors of Argentina and the San Antonio Spurs. The ankle strap features 'Manu' and the rear heel counter has his jersey number '20'.
