On 2nd October (10/2), that was the day Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with cancer.  Nike's 10/2 collection is a line of cycling and lifestyle products that is inspired by Lance Armstrong's celebration of life.

One of the 10/2 footwear lines is a Zoom Air FC, a shoe normally only seen as part of the Nike Skateboarding line. Here,  Nike and Lance Armstrong in collaboration with artist Futura have designed an imaginative design, which features icons designed by Futura lasered into the side panels of the shoe. A mere 500 pairs were released to the public! Regardless of their rarity, these shoes are presented in such a way, they would be hard to pass up, each pair comes in a black laminated box with a slide-out drawer. The box is lined with a light brown velour-like material and the shoes come in their very own soft bag (see photo above). Futura has his name (FL) etched into the rear heel counter of the shoes and the innersoles are adorned with the same icons as used on the uppers of the shoes.

Each pair also is encapsulated in a brown carton featuring the size/style of shoes giving extra protection for these sweet gems!
