RareAirShoes.com Australian Exclusive The "Supreme" Dunk was exclusively released in September/October 2002 at skateboard store Supreme, which has two stores worldwide. One store is based in Manhattan, New York City while the other is situated in Tokyo, Japan. By collectors standards, this is one of the most sought after Dunks based on its awesome appearance as well as its limited availability and unconventional distribution. People have queued up in front of the store time and again just to be able to land one pair regardless of the size. Everybody seems to have their thoughts and opinions on how many have been produced, some say it is around a meager 500, while others suggest it could be around 1000 or even 2000. With two sets of Black laces, the leather uppers also have elephant print (reminiscent of the Nike Air Jordan III) across most of the shoe. What makes the SB Dunks more desirable than other Dunks is that they come with an extra set of laces and there is Zoom Air in the innersole, for extra cushioning and comfort topped with a padded tongue. |
