Say 'ALOHA' to these!!! A feverishly-hot Dunk Low colorway aptly named the 'Aloha Dunk', a collab with Honolulu shoe store, Kickshawaii, where it was first released on 18th November 2004 and has been eagerly anticipated by Dunk fans across the world for its vibrant colors and inspiration. The material on the side of the shoe, surrounding the suede swoosh is made from a traditional Hawaiian weave called Lauhala. The art of Lauhala hand weaving has been part of the Hawaiian culture for many generations and is more often seen on fashion accessories, such purses and bags. 'Aloha' is written on the tongue in green on brown, while the reverse on the heel counter where 'Hawaii' is written in brown text on green. There are obvious similarites between this shoe and Dunk Low Pro SB Cinder/Bison-Red that was released in 2003, with its distinctive 'red-toe' that caused collectors to snap it up within a short time... Each pair comes laced up with brown laces along with extra set of 'mean' green laces to further enhance co-ordination of your shoes and clothes!
***As a bonus, the first few pairs sold will each receive a special matching 'ALOHA' wristband*** Men's US Size - Sold Out 29 May 2007 |
