According to the Nike Skateboarding site, this is how they describe this colorway, "A homage to an 80's fashion icon - goes well with country clubs, polo grounds and hip-hop shows".

Somehow it adopted a nickname as most Dunks do, and took on the name 'Barf'. Each pair comes laced up with green laces and an extra set of blue laces with Zoom-Air innersoles.
