Another very funky Paul Rodriguez Nike Zoom Air Elite, commonly referred to as the 'P-Rod' amongst skaters and shoeheads alike, but nonetheless the signature shoe of this upcoming skater in a hot colorway specially designed by Marco Hernandez to commemorate Cinco De Mayo in 2006.

The sweet laser etchings make this shoe really something else with different phrases/words written on the toe box and tongue areas! A nice use of the full-grain leathers with the etching and nubuck uppers which have embroidery on them.

What is 'Cinco De Mayo'?

On May 5th, 1862, cannons boomed and rifle shots rang out as the French soldiers attacked the two forts. Before the day was over, one fort was in ruins and more than a thousand French soldiers were dead. The Mexicans had won the battle, but not the war. Yet, this date was established as symbolic of the Mexicans' courage against a formidable army.

Each pair comes laced up with green laces and an extra set of brown laces with specially-designed green Zoom-Air innersoles.
