RareAirShoes.com Exclusive Perhaps the most popular and sought Nike running shoe of all-time, is the Air Max 95, especially in this color scheme, which was originally released in 1995. Its been a decade since its inception and this colorway has been retro-ed on numerous occasions and is still just as popular today as it was back in the day. This color scheme has been retro-ed a number of times. The retro editions were released in 1999, 2002 (above), 2003 (released in the UK) and most recently in 2004, which was released around the world, which included the USA (above). Regardless of the year it has been released, it always sells out and demand exceeds the supply. With each retro release, there are slight differences between them, starting with their stylecodes and packaging. For instance, the 2004 edition, as shown by the photos above, differences of which some are subtle to the more attuned eye, whilst others are more obvious , most notably the shade of green used. The 2002 uses a less bright mesh as used in 2004 edition. The Air Max logo stitched on the tongue is quite different in both styles as well as the innersole. Even the pattern on the base sole of the shoe is quite different with the grey and black accents. Hopefully in the future we will compile more details and photos outlining the differences between various retro and re-retro models as well as their original counterparts.
