RareAirShoes.com is proud to announce a sponsorship agreement with the Adelaide 'Quit' Lightning, from the WNBL (Women's National Basketball League) for the 2004-05 season.

Part of the agreement with the Adelaide 'Quit' Lightning, RareAirShoes.com will be sponsoring a player from the team, Monique Bowley, who will be sporting a pair of hot kicks that feature on the RareAirShoes.com website.

Monique has had brilliant basketball career so far since she began playing at 7 years old, whilst competing in major junior tournaments, before making her debut as a rookie in the WNBL representing the AIS in the 1999/00 season. Since 2000, Monique has been playing in Adelaide with the Lightning and with the Sturt Sabres in the off-season. In June 2003, this tall forward represented Australia (known as the Sapphires) at the Young Women's World Championship where the team won eight of its ten matches including scoring series wins against world number one the Czech Republic, second-ranked Russia and France.
